Elegant Black Maxi at Eiffel Tower

Happy first day of Autumn! With the transition into Fall, it got a little bit colder these past couple couple of days around San Francisco and I definitely felt the cool Autumn breeze. It's supposed to get warm again this weekend though, so I hope everyone avoids getting sick with the sudden temperature fluctuation!

In continuation of my trip to France, I wanted to let everyone know that the black maxi dress I wore to the Eiffel Tower is now on sale at Banana Republic with extra 40% off (here)! Also, the Rebecca Minkoff sandals I wore are now on sale, although in a different color (the color I'm wearing is butterscotch). For those who are traveling to warmer places in the winter, these are very comfy and stylish sandals to walk in. They'll also come in handy when Summer rolls around next year!

This was the perfect ensemble for a day at the Eiffel Tower. I loved how the dress didn't brush the floor. I bought a size 00P and it fit comfortably, especially around the waist. Also, the Rebecca Minkoff sandals added some contrast to the elegant dress with a touch of edginess!
We climbed all the way up to the Eiffel tower via the stairs to take in the breathtaking views of Paris!
I think it's more fun to climb the stairs up the Eiffel Tower rather than take the elevator, and the lines were much shorter too. We also got to enjoy more of the Paris scenery up along the way, although there are quite a lot of stairs so it does get tiring. It did help us work up an appetite so that we could enjoy all yummy French food later in the day with a little less guilt!

  1. It's my dream to take photos at the Eiffel Tower! You look gorgeous!

  2. Lovely pictures! One day I hope to visit the Eiffel Tower.

  3. Great post! Very beautiful photo and place!

  4. The black maxi I feel is such a good staple to have in ones wardrobe! You have such lovely pictures of Paris! Stunning!
