Fall Colors and New Haircut

I've been heavily relying on scarves lately, so you won't see a shortage of them anytime soon! We had another weekend of sunny weather, but as always you need some warmth from the unexpected wind around San Francisco. I've been going on a scarf hunt from plaid to neutral toned colors, making sure the right colors match my outfits.

I've been quietly stockpiling boots as well since fall is the perfect time to keep your feet stylishly warm, so I'm excited to share my favorites in upcoming posts. I also finally got a long overdue haircut! I usually like to try different salons and this has been one of my favorites in a long time.

Outfit: Zara burgundy jeggings (here), Ann Taylor oversized scarf (here), Loft lace tee (here) and Bar III cropped leather jacket (seen here, similar here) and Steve Madden booties (similar here)

I've been seeing many tartan-like blanket scarves from other bloggers, especially in red, white, and green color combinations. I originally bought the one from ASOS (here) but I felt it was a little bit too large and a little bit too thick. It was bulky when wrapped around, so I eventually decided to return it. This is a great color for the upcoming holidays for a scarf, but I didn't want to wear it as a shawl.

However, I'm very glad I found a perfect alternative from Ann Taylor! It was the perfect size, not too thick, and wrapped comfortably. Burgundy is becoming one of my favorite colors which is surprising since I usually like pastel and softer colors. I think it looks elegant and is glamorous color that easily spices up any outfit - what's not to like?

I just wanted to note that Zara doesn't have petite friendly jeggings. I'm usually around a 28-30inch inseam depending on the brand, and Zara is on the taller side that needs to be hemmed. However, their fits are flattering and they really elongate your legs!

Ready for my haircut! I had a great hair experience at Patrick Evan Salon. My stylist was friendly, caring, and offered hair styling advice for my flat hair.
Voila! Really pretty layers especially when curled and I'll be back in a couple weeks for my ombre. I'm excited!
Here's the look from the front. I also really like the length of my bangs which brings out my cheekbones.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'll be traveling to Korea on Wednesday and can't wait to share my travel adventures!
